Very nice stay. The room and bathroom were a great size with plenty of room and the bed was very comfortable. Sound machine was a good touch. The breakfast each morning was excellent. Would stay here again in our next visit to this quaint town.

Our room was well-appointed, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Each morning there was an original, homemade breakfast with fresh ingredients. They went beyond the standard €˜eggs and bacon and delivered some great variations that were both delicious and memorable. Serena did a great job engaging with the guests and running the kitchen. We loved the charm of the Inn, the charm and excellent service from the staff, and the location was perfect for us. We would be thrilled to stay here again.

~ George L. The Town and Tide Inn was a wonderful oasis in Newport, RI for our 41st Anniversary in November 2021. The location is excellent we stayed for 2 nights and once we parked in their parking lot we never took our car out until our department. We were able to walk to Thames Street and marina tourist area easily. The Cliff Walk is within a few blocks. Could have walked 22 minutes to the Breakers if we hadn't taken a Trolley Tour of the mansions. The property is an updated B&B with multiple room options that are in a Main House, Garden House and the Carriage House. Our unit #11 was in the Carriage House and was modern, clean and spacious. The 'Shed' is a separate quaint space to unwind and read after a day of touring (I took advantage of this space throughout our stay - especially when your partner turns in early - a place of escape). Lisa our Innkeeper was friendly and informative; noting things of interest and things to do within our short stay. PLUS a delectable full breakfast was served with the Chef's selections but also took note of our dietary restrictions. The food was simply delicious. We will surely recommend the Town & Tide to our friends and family and we're thinking of our next visit as well.

This inn has everything - the location, decor, superb breakfast, and wonderful Inn Keeper/host (Lisa). They have thought of everything. My unit was wonderfully decorated and the gardens and outdoor area look professionally designed. There is even a she/he shed for relaxing and having a drink. It is an easy walk to the beach, cliff walk as well as downtown. Look no further!!!!!!

Lisa was a welcoming and readily available presence, the entire inn was SPOTLESS (kudos to housekeeping), and we would be willing to declare the breakfast far surpassed any available in restaurants in terms of quality and value. Why stay in a more costly hotel when you can stay at the Town & Tide and feel like you're home?

When asked, she gave us her recommendations on what to do and where to eat in Newport. We took them and they were spot on. Shauna, Susan and the Town and Tide Inn staff made us feel as if we were at our own home. There was a peaceful feeling when sitting outside by their Koi pond. You wouldn't know that you were located on a main road. It was perfect. Thank you T&T Inn for making our very 1st stay in RI a memorable one. We'll see you again soon!!!

So friendly and informative. The location was perfect too. We were able to easily walk to the Cliff Walk, the beach, restaurants, shops. There was even a farmer's market across the way one afternoon. Just loved it all.

So we were a bit skeptical about how we would feel about the Town and Tide Inn but we were absolutely blown away! It is beautiful and fresh and clean! And the Innkeepers and staff were fabulous not to mention the breakfast! We can't wait to go back next year!
~ Brone From the moment we pulled up to your property, our experience was perfect in every way. Lisa was a valuable asset to our entire visit. Even though it was only one night, Lisa was efficient, friendly, accurate with all the detailed information she gave us from dining to walking to driving, to the beach, the wildlife sanctuary, the Harborside, the Mansion drive and the Cliff Walk. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The property is so beautifully planned and taken care of. We even enjoyed sitting in The Shed for a late night snack. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough...and the coffee and juices were all great. We were so thankful we ended up at T&T as it was a last minute spontaneous decision that turned out better than we could have hoped for! I credit Lisa for a lot of that satisfaction as well as everything else being extremely pleasing. I truly hope to get back there with my husband after the summer, which is our busiest working season too. Thank you for a great experience and a much needed getaway!

Conveniently located for our one night stay so we could explore the cliff walk (beach - but the weather was bad), and downtown. Nice to leave our car and be able to walk everywhere! The Innkeeper Lisa was so helpful pulling off the surprise, making suggestions for dinners and serving outstanding breakfasts. The newly renovated accommodations are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed is super comfy. And the shower is excellent. We spent quite a bit of time at the Inn just hanging out with each other and it's perfect for that. But the location is great for taking advantage of beautiful Newport! The Inn is right down the street from the beach and Cliff Walk and in the other direction are great shops and restaurants. The Town and Tide Inn gets five stars from me!

So we were a bit skeptical about how we would feel about the Town and Tide Inn but we were absolutely blown away! It is beautiful and fresh and clean! And the Innkeepers and staff were fabulous not to mention the breakfast! We can't wait to go back next year!
~ Brone From the moment we pulled up to your property, our experience was perfect in every way. Lisa was a valuable asset to our entire visit. Even though it was only one night, Lisa was efficient, friendly, accurate with all the detailed information she gave us from dining to walking to driving, to the beach, the wildlife sanctuary, the Harborside, the Mansion drive and the Cliff Walk. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The property is so beautifully planned and taken care of. We even enjoyed sitting in The Shed for a late night snack. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough...and the coffee and juices were all great. We were so thankful we ended up at T&T as it was a last minute spontaneous decision that turned out better than we could have hoped for! I credit Lisa for a lot of that satisfaction as well as everything else being extremely pleasing. I truly hope to get back there with my husband after the summer, which is our busiest working season too. Thank you for a great experience and a much needed getaway!
~ Meryl The Inn looked exactly like the pictures online! Clean, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Conveniently located for our one night stay so we could explore the cliff walk (beach - but the weather was bad), and downtown. Nice to leave our car and be able to walk everywhere! I would definitely recommend.

Lisa the Inn Keeper was so sweet and accommodating and served us the most delicious breakfasts each morning. The rooms are gorgeous, they are immaculate and the location is perfect.The "she shed" in the back was our nightly ritual! I am recommending it to anyone and everyone!!
~ Betsy Perfection! We booked rooms 1-5 for a birthday weekend for 7 women and it could not have been better! The Innkeeper Lisa was so helpful pulling off the surprise, making suggestions for dinners and serving outstanding breakfasts. The newly renovated accommodations are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed is super comfy. And the shower is excellent. We spent quite a bit of time at the Inn just hanging out with each other and it's perfect for that. But the location is great for taking advantage of beautiful Newport! The Inn is right down the street from the beach and Cliff Walk and in the other direction are great shops and restaurants. The Town and Tide Inn gets five stars from me!

Newly renovated and impeccably decorated all was perfect. Lisa, the host was so charming and helpful, all our needs were met graciously. Breakfast was outstanding. The location was truly wonderful with easy access to all the sites Newport offers. Looking forward to my next visit.
